We started at Recipe Hound with one goal in mind---that was to share recipes with the world. Our founder, Stephen C. Mason, recalls: "I can still recall my childhood, where a visit to grandmas was a treat. Granny loved to cook. The smells that she had drifting through her kitchen were invigorating." He adds, "Granny loved growing things in her garden. Vegetables, herbs, spices, and chilies am pleased to be able to honor her by sharing some of her recipes, and creating special pages dedicated to chilies!"
By the 19th century cooking had become recognized as an art form and a passion for many throughout the world. Cookery and recipe books were a staple in every kitchen. Today, cooking has evolved into a cultural phenomenon with the introduction of TV cooks and entire television networks dedicated to culinary art.
